ENDANGERED MUSSEL NURSERY

Teams Estonoa has completed four cycles of helping baby mussels through their first season.

 -Spring to Fall of 2010, 2011, 2014, 2016 AND plan to begin the 2017 season this spring

Our Project's Purpose:

·   to assist with the restoration of populations of mussel species within the Clinch River

·   serve as a place-based -- outdoor classroom learning activity for high school and elementary

    school students.
